Our strength emanates from our diversity, faith in our systems, and passion for fixing those systems when they break down.
We believe that while we all have policies we want adopted at this school (such as improved financial aid, sustainability measures, and better residential living quality), ultimately, we have to reform the institutions to be more representative for those policies to be enacted effectively.
If AU’s Sudent Government cannot be responsive to student needs, or if it passes policies that aren’t respected by the administration, then students loose faith that AUSG can advocate for them and a breakdown of campus democracy takes place. Restoring faith in our campus democracy is the focal-point of my campaign platform.

With a vibrant passion for democracy, I’ve devoted my life to amplifying student voices and strengthening democratic institutions. Frustrated by the lack of true representation in my high school student government, I spearheaded a Constitutional referendum that shifted its function from a glorified party planning to a robust advocate for student rights. Our success with the Constitution catalyzed me to create the Task Force, a national nonprofit aimed at empowering young Americans to protect democratic values.
In 2022, I took on the Arizona state legislature in a decisive battle to safeguard our referendum process and protect Arizona’s democracy. Through a grassroots coalition of student advocacy groups, we educated thousands of young voters and successfully defeated the legislature’s power grab to effectively end our referendum process with over 63% voter support.
Now at American University, I’m committed to strengthening our campus democracy and increasing AUSG’s ability to advocate for students on campus. As a senator, I’ll use my experience not to create drama, not to advance my agenda—but to reform our AUSG institutions, and enable them to serve students as one unified voice for campus advocacy and democracy.
